Charcoal Spine

This is a charcoal assignment that I finished about a week or two ago. The assignment was bones and I chose the spine. I chose the spine because it is very intricate, a lot more than most people think, and I wanted to convey that in my drawing. The medium for this project is black and white charcoal. This made it a little nerve wrecking when it came to portability. This is one of my favorite pieces  and I enjoyed the process.

Landscape

This is a watercolor and acrylic painting that I did over a month ago, for my AP Drawing class. The assignment was to paint a landscape. It ended up becoming a bit surreal with the blue and green design in the background. It's grown on me over the last couple of weeks although its not one of my favorites. My favorite part is the snow because of the contrast created. It is still a work in progress. Please comment if you have any ideas.

Still-Life

This is the first graphite work of my Drawing II year. It was one out of two still-life assignments. This work  is also one of my favorites because of the many textures and  the values. Graphite is my preference when it comes to mediums. If there is any way to make this a better work please comment.

Watercolor Shoes

This was the first piece of my junior, aka Drawing II year. I really enjoyed doing this because it was watercolor, which was different from my usual graphite assignments. The bright colors throughout the piece is what makes it one of my favorites. Like most artworks things can be added on, so if you have any suggestion as to how I can make it better don't hesitate to comment.
